Almaty, July 12, according to news, Interfax reported that Kazakhstan's National Bureau of Statistics released the country's January-June refined copper production was 187,218 tons, representing an increase of 19.1%.
January-June unprocessed zinc production fell 1 percent to 157,063 tons.
1-6 month copper ore production was 20.518 million tons, an increase of 15.4%; zinc ore production fell 1.8% to 2.451 million tons; lead-zinc ore production decreased by 7.9% to 3.656 million tons.
Copper concentrate production rose 4.3% to 216,100 tonnes of zinc concentrate production fell 3.8% to 174,400 tonnes.
